Mariscos El Poder - Playas De Rosarito

I have been coming here for the past 5 yrs, and I find their Campechanas, pata de mulas, and almejas.....the best in the area..! The oysters, are a little small. But they are fresh...I will continue coming here for my sea food when I am in town~

They have the best shrimp tacos. The prices are very reasonable. We paid less than $1 per taco. The micheladas are ok.

Unpretentous little hole-in-the-wall cooks up some great street food. Love the fish tacos (or shrimp), washed down with a cold cerveza. Apears to be family owned and operated.

I am in and out of Rosarito every few months, and have been trying fish and shrimp tacos all over town, as well as down in Ensenada and in TJ itself. And no matter how many I try, Mariscos continues to be my #1 go-to place for all things deliciously battered and fried. The batter is really light, the oil is always clean, so no nasty after-taste, and they live up to that wonderful oxymoron, jumbo shrimp. They don't skimp on the shrimp either, your tacos will be quite stuffed. I've also tried their aguachile (yum) and their 7 seas soup ... also great. They have 6-7 bottled sauces on the table, plus you always get fresh, house-made pico, hot sauce, crema and cabbage.The prices are very reasonable, the service is fast, and while there's not a lot of English spoken, I've been going since I only knew a word or two of Spanish, and yet have never walked away unfed or unhappy. It's tourist friendly, kid-friendly, clean, easy to find ... I could go on and on, but then I'd be sad. And hungry.
