Rusty Anchor Restaurant - PLEASANT BAY

. Had a delicious lunch on the deck at the Rusty Anchor best was the seafood packaging. Great view, friendly service, although a bit wait not surprising, as the weather was perfect and it was high season many people!

We stopped here on our return to Ingonish after the completion of the Skyline Walk, when we warned how difficult it was to get a table on the coast and Main Street in Ingonish, and when you did it was a long waiting period We were thrilled with our choice. We were served quickly and there was little waiting. The Schellfischessen at CAN$22 was excellent, the generous fish fillet was cooked in butter and flour freshly tasty and juicy mixed with potato and Aldente vegetables We never expected such high quality in an off-farm location with limited options It is on the water and there is a outdoor terrace

The Rusty Anchor had friendly staff. We went to dessert, and it was great. We'd have more time. The deck also looks out to the sea.

We had a great time in this place. It is in a great location (hard to miss, really) and the view is stunning. It was a bit windy, so we decided to sit inside instead of sitting on the veranda. The service was great and we had questions about the rest of their trip and they helped and delivered further suggestions that we took and loved (definitely go hiking in Meat Cove). There are a few Veggie options on the menu. I have the Veggie Wrap and loved her.

The restaurant is kitch in a good way, the front lady was very friendly, the food was decent, the prices fair, the food was ready pretty quickly, the view is nice… the service wasn’t the best, but people have off days.
