Worst BBQ I ever had..they discounted it before the bill came...new supplier was their excuse. Leather beef ribs, dry brisket, tasteless sausage...store bought sides! You can do better Texas

We had the Big Tex take out for a small party at home. We added an order of pulled pork and the family salad with blue cheese dressing. Everything was delicious. The sides, sauces, and all the bbq were excellent. The serving size was perfect for 10-12 people. Back Forty had everything ready on time, nothing was left out, and they helped to carry it to the car. This was the second time we had the Big Tex and it won’t be the last. We also eat in the restaurant. Sitting in the bar with a cocktail and having dinner or a late lunch is our favorite.

I love the ribs and scalloped potatoes. My job orders from here a lot because of the convince, customer service and great food.

Chicken was good but seasoning/flavor was only on the skin, brisket was tender, but very bland didn’t even have a smoked flavor. BBQ Beans and Mac and cheese both had NO flavor or seasonings and were extremely bland. Would not recommend or be eating here again very underwhelming and dissatisfying BBQ.

Every restaurant needs a server like Mike! He made our experience so enjoyable, I luv it! The food tasted great. Their cole slaw is different but fantastic. The homemade Mac n Cheese was also delicious. I didn't realize how much I enjoyed smoked ribs. Thee spot to go to?
