Escape From Fisherman's Wharf

I stopped by this restaurant for lunch and ordered the lunch combo of soup and sandwich. The service was very prompt, and I was served my food quickly. While the food wasn't fancy, it was good and hit the spot. The prices were reasonable, especially for the combo meal. Overall, I had a satisfying lunch experience and would recommend this restaurant for a quick and affordable meal.

Great food and great people. I loved the whole experience with this place. San Francisco feel and food without the San Francisco prices. I had the liverworst and roast beef on rye. So freaking good. And I'm so glad I chose the chili. Some of the best chili I've ever had. I will return and I will get the calamari and soup with bread bowl. Holy moly the crab sandwich on soft french roll (toasted) was a 10.How I didn't go here years ago when I moved to Pleasant Hill I don't know.Super friendly family shop....And now they take credit cards!Eat away with total confidence. Going back next week.Owner gave me a sample of their homemade clam chowder. That was also excellent. Next time I'm getting another crab sandwich and a clam chowder.
