Siren's Deli Juice - Pleasant Hill

This is the second time in a row that our order was not complete. The first time, I thought it was just a one-off bad experience because we usually don't have any problems there. Last time, we ordered lasagna and it was mostly sauce with very few noodles. The garlic bread was missing. Today, we ordered a bombero sandwich. They were out of ciabatta rolls, which was fine. However, when I got home, there was no pork in the sandwich. I basically paid for an overpriced ham sandwich. When I called to mention the mistake, they offered to make me another one. $24 for 2 sandwiches, which is not what I ordered.

We stopped at Sirens, also known as a hotspot, for a quick lunch. Initially, we were disappointed to find out that it was too early at 11:30 to buy a calzone or pizza slice from the menu because the pizza maker had not arrived yet. We decided to try the sandwiches instead, and if we liked them, we would return to try the other items. Unfortunately, this was not the case. My wife ordered a French dip sandwich, which came with thick slices of roast beef instead of the usual shaved beef. The addition of pfefferoncini did not complement the sandwich, and the bread lacked flavor. The au jus was also bland. I ordered a rub sandwich, but found the bread to be tasteless as well. To make matters worse, the sandwich was overly sweet. The two women working behind the counter were kind but not very fast. The prices were on the higher side, with sandwiches costing about $12 and not coming with chips or any other sides.

It has been a while since it first opened, but the sandwiches were great this time. The lasagna was delicious, but a little on the light side.

Small sandwich/pizza deli. many sandwich choices for a picnic dinner. faster service. although listed two vegetarian options, only the Veggie sandwich was available. they also have pizza with vegetarian options. I want to try again.

I got the J-keys sandwich, it was delicious. Perfectly sliced meat on a fresh soft sourdough roll. Chris was very helpful with the rest of my large complicated order for all my co workers. She provided excellent customer service. Everyone was happy with their food. I have to try the hawaiian calzone next, it looked so good! I will be back soon!
