The Gettin Place - Pleasant View

This charming little shop is owned by genuinely nice people. While we were camping, we discovered that we had forgotten to bring cooking oil, and they generously offered me enough to make dinner. Their BBQ brisket sandwiches are simply outstanding!

While we don't often write reviews, this restaurant definitely earns an A+ for their exceptional service and wonderful food over the years! Let's do our part to support them and ensure their continued success. It's rare to come across such fantastic cuisine at a fair price when dining out. The food at this restaurant is amazing, and the staff is very welcoming! If you value fresh, locally sourced meats, you definitely need to visit this place. The pulled pork is outstanding!

The restaurant has a lovely aroma. I was pleasantly surprised to find a British sink in the restroom as well.

We chose to visit after hearing great praises about the food during a local soil conservation class. My husband and I ordered the brisket sandwich, and it was hands down the best brisket we've ever tasted, served in generous portions. Next time, we plan to try a selection of meats to take home. The owners were incredibly friendly, and the restaurant was spotless.
