The Location direct on the beach is perfect. The interior decoration of the Restaurant and bar is maritime and origial. The sea food, very often decorated with annanas, the special Bretone potatos a cocktail at the sun set is a Dream.
Went here after a great costal walk. Hearty food and good portion sizes at reasonable prices. Sporadic opening times. They accommodated our month old with perfect French hospitality. Went back for a second meal we loved it so much. Simple menu but good.
Found this place whilst looking for Sillon de Talbert. Tables a bit close in fact we had one in a dark corner. Not good. Food OK but have had better and cheaper. Might be good for evening meals but find somewhere else for plat de...jour. Moules and frites come in smaller than normal portions. Dogs can get a little fractious when they bump into each other so if you don't want to eat with a couple you know what to do. Parking is very short in supply. We did notice a nice airy place with lots of natural light about metres up the road but never used it. I think it opened about If you need a pudding try the patisserie in Pleubien they do an amazing apple tatin for euros.
Le sillon du Talbert is one of the most beautiful beaches.... However, let me recommend that you use lots of sunblock, carry an umbrella or go on a cloudy day! After enjoying a light lunch let me recommend the mussels and a glass of ice...cold Sauvigion Blanc or a cassoulet with a Bordeaux superior, take a long walk in the dry bay if it low tide and appreciate the thousands of small shells and maybe build a memorial pile of stones or a circle to remind yourself that you were there! This is an afternoon experience for sure!
