Stir - Plymouth

Amazing food, interesting cocktails, great atmosphere. Our server was very hard to work and didn't miss a beat even if it seemed a little short staff. The metal chairs were a bit unpleasant, but it didn't ruin the evening. We will definitely return.

Not good. Waitress was nice enough, but certainly not properly trained. She may have said a million times “determined” during our common experience with terrible service from the waitress and the kitchen staff who had obvious problems. Most of our foods did not show up, and then the food that appeared was late and moderate to say the least.

Stir was enough. We were looking for a romantic dinner and was told that Stir was a good date night restaurant... the fact that it was all almost all high tops was NOT what we expected. The food was okay, but nothing unusual again. What was surprising was how great the musician was after the schedule it was Doug Thompson and he was impressive.

Nice restaurant. The decor is very ne England. The food was fabulous although my chicken Gnocchi Pesto was Luke warm. My men chicken and waffles was hot and excellent. We did not know that this was a brewing pub and would have liked the waiting staff to let us explain and describe the difference to beer as they do. Portsmouth bre pubs. Beer was pretty good. My cocktail was also good I shirt this restaurant is a very good place for special occasions as well as day evenings. I can't wait to go back and check out their little plate menu. It is quite eclectic and looks very interesting.

Food was amazing, service was beyond excellent, ambience is lovely. Just a perfect meal.
