We then waited 55 minutes for food. I have never had beef slices so thin 1mm at most. I had two slices that when folded into the fork made for 2 bites. One piece of broccoli, 3 carrots, 2 small dry florets of cauliflower and a very limp Yorkshire pudding all drowning in gravy. The dessert a sliver of cheesecake the size of one of my fingers. I was left speechless at the merge portions. Never again!
Nice atmosphere and lovely staff but no heating so quite chilly. Food disappointing; roast gammon was more like plain bacon, chicken rubbery, broccoli hard, cauliflower cheese dry. Lovely carrots but only 2 small ones. No yorkies and. no stuffing with the chicken. Nice roasties and white cabbage. Shame as wasn’t overly busy so felt food could have been better.
Really nice restaurant, but food was far too overpriced for what it was, I don’t mind paying high prices but expected something a little more. The fact you had to buy chips separately was strange too.
From when we arrived the staff were amazing! Didn't get much of a chance to take a look at the drinks menu before ordering but couldn't fault in any other way! Food tastes incredible, I believe the choices were great however others in our group felt otherwise. The music was very loud at points which led to tables shouting between themselves (we only arrived at 19:30). So even though we and others were there for food we felt as though we had booked a table at a nightblubclub at times. Other than that it was great and we had a really good time thank you all!
Had Sunday lunch here after reading other reviews. Manager (owner? really friendly and helpful. All staff friendly. Food very good. No rush for us to leave table. Really good experience
