I was in a hurry and decided to grab a quick lunch at Oggy Oggy. My go-to item there is usually the broccoli and sweetcorn pasty, but because I was feeling hot, I opted for a freshly made sandwich instead. I chose plain brown bread with a simple filling of chicken and bacon mayo, which cost £1.99. The sandwich was filled generously with large bacon bits, plenty of mayo, and chunky pieces of chicken. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be choosing their sandwiches more often due to their low price and generous fillings.
The staff at this restaurant always provide excellent service and have great banter with customers. However, I was a bit disappointed to learn that the pastries are just average, as they are cooked from frozen.
Nice friendly service, however I bought me and my friend a fresh cream doughnut, when we bit into it, they was frozen. So can't be that fresh, waste of money as we ended up throwing them away.
Service is always great, very friendly staff. The food however needs improving. We had a family feast from there, the buns that were in the window were quite hard and almost stale, the veg pasties (4 of them) were cooked on the outside but the veg was real hard in the middle. The whole meal pasty was also the same, too hard.
