Feedback gevenI had to send my meal back twice because the base was soggy and wet, as if it had been microwaved to defrost. It was unpleasant, and even the server was surprised by the condition of the food.
I went to this restaurant for a meal before a show. I requested gluten-free food and it was no problem at all. The food was tasty and the service was quick. Shoutout to Libby for a great experience!
My husband and I recently acquired a smartphone and decided to try out the PizzaExpress App. Although we had some initial struggles, we eventually managed to log in and use it at the PizzaExpress in Plymouth Derry's Cross. Despite not having a reservation, we were warmly welcomed and seated at a table right away. Our waitress, Libby, was fantastic and even brought us water without us having to ask. We enjoyed some delicious drinks and appetizers before selecting our main courses. With Libby's help, we were able to navigate the menu on the app and order our meals. We both thoroughly enjoyed our dishes and the service was excellent throughout our visit. Overall, a great experience at PizzaExpress.
The pizzas were thin as advertised, but they managed to make the toppings crisp while the dough was soggy and raw. Kind of a talent in itself. The tables weren't cleaned properly from the previous guests and the whole restaurant smelled like sweaty old man.
My friends and I spent our evening celebrating a birthday here tonight. The waitress Libby was lovely and able to help us with all our queries regarding deals however when we wanted to raise a concern with the manager she declined to come over to speak to us and instead spoke through the waitress. Furthermore, towards the end our waitress seemed considerably less animated due to the harsh conversation the manager had with her which we all felt incredibly bad for. Would not recommend if you actually wanted to speak to a manager here.
