The service at this restaurant is excellent, with a very friendly staff. The food is perfect, and I can't fault it at all. Overall, it was a brilliant experience.

The restaurant offers an excellent variety of quality beers and ciders at great prices. The food is also a good value. The staff were friendly and attentive, as were the regular customers we had the pleasure of speaking with.

Five of us went to this restaurant for a Christmas drink and it felt like we had walked into a strange scene from a movie. As soon as we entered, everyone stopped and stared at us, making us feel quite uncomfortable. We sat at a long table by the window and ordered some drinks. Shortly after, a man approached us and informed us that we would have to move soon because a band was setting up in our area. We quickly finished our drinks and decided to leave. The atmosphere was not pleasant and we do not plan on returning.

Great wee typical English pub. Brilliant, ever helpful staff, and nice clientele too ! Nothing too much trouble, reasonably priced too. Would highly recommend to anyone in the general area.

Went midweek at noon and were the only people in the pub for the first Hour Half but friendly welcome from the bar manager. Food available at Lunchtime other than Mondays with a great at reasonable cost. Three choices of cask available with Bass always on tap with two guest ales on tap. Pub Interior décor dated but has a natural old world romantic charm. The pub toilets have been recently updated and are first class.
