Maverik Adventure's First Stop

Store on 855 alameda in Pocatello. Maverick are you scraping the bottom of the barrel. 8:30pm July 21 2022 the cashier never looked up from counting her till to check people out. We all finally used self pay. She was the only person in store. Bags of trash to the right of the beer cave. What?s upsetting the most. She never said a word!!! Not even I?m sorry I am counting down my till can you please use self checkout.

Very busy street but a good Maverick. Bought some lottery tickets and won.

A long time ago, I worked for a retail chain, and during the online application process, I had to take a strange test that assessed my knowledge of very basic concepts, like how many days are in a year or a week, and simple math problems like 4+4. While I understand the value of such testing now, I really wish Maverik would implement something similar as part of their hiring practices.

My first destination for adventures. The store is clean, but the bathroom was a bit messy. However, you can't really expect much from a gas station restroom. It's a great spot to pick up a lottery ticket, though!

I have an inexplicable loyalty to Maverik. They consistently provide everything I need at great prices. Their locations always appear cleaner and better maintained than other stations in town. One of the standout features of this particular location is the spaciousness. Even when many of the pumps are in use, it never feels crowded here.
