Ming's Cafe - Pocatello

Our second time here for lunch. Pho and Vietnamese coffee stood out the first time. Second visit confirmed the quality of the Chinese dishes. Honey walnut shrimps are outstanding with transparent and crispy coating. Mixed lomein is tasty, with beef, chicken and shrimps. Broccoli and beef is also good.

We were very hungry, and looked for the closest Asia restaurant, not expecting much, but boy, were we pleasantly surprised! My wife had the Honey Walnut Shrimp with Lo Mein on the side and I had the P1 Phö with assorted meats. In one word DELICIOUS!!! The shrimps were nicely coated with the sauce and tasted great, and the Lo Mein was excellent with a little Smokey flavor, which is the way they should be! My Phö was rich with contents, but the flavor of the broth was not as deep and developed as it should be (they need to use real beef soup bone and root veggies, and cook them for at least overnight to achieve the right depth of flavor). Nevertheless, when adding the Sriracha sauce and Hoising sauce, together with added cilantro that I asked for, the flavor was enhanced and very good. One small remark charging an extra $0.50 for the cilantro is quite petty. So, bottom line is that the food was delicious and well priced. If it wasn't for the broth flavor and the extra charge for the cilantro, they would have received a solid 5 Star grade! We WILL definitely be back for more in the future!

At this moment we're still here, the food is absolutely delicious their strawberry matcha is really sweet! I bought some cream cheese wontons with chicken fried rice and it's delicious. My father got the combo number 1 and he says it's really damn good!

We stopped by on our way to Yellowstone Park. Cashew nut chicken tastes awesome and we came back when we returned from Yellowstone Park. 100% recommendation to you.

The resturant is nice, employees are great. The food is awesome and affordable. You can get the lunch special all day; it's just a smaller portion than the dinner special, and it fills you up. The sweet and sour chicken was really good and so we're the pot stickers.
