Winco Foods - Pocatello

My wife who had a baby and a toddler was horribly mistreated at Winco in Pocatello. At checkout a checker was very rude to her and after she paid with a debit card the checker told her the purchase didn't go through and then told her she would have to wait while she checked out everyone else in line. My wife checked our banking app and it showed the grocery amount had been taken out of our account, she tried to show the checker who became angry with her and told her she needed to pay again or she would call the police. My wife paid a second time and then went to customer service to show that her bank account had been debited twice for the same purchase. The person at customer service said she didn't care and it wasn't her problem. We had to call the bank and have the bank cancel one of the duplicate transactions because the grocery store was fine stealing a weeks grocery money from a mother with a baby and a toddler.

Ok when not crowded. Pricing is usually lower than the others. Look for the green tags for specials. Avoid the self checkouts. They will cause errors and steal money from you. Some workers are rude here and won't help. Most are ok.

I was shopping on Sunday, Sept 30 at around 3:15 pm, I used Nicole P's. Check out lane. She is pure sunshine and joy!! You are very lucky to have her. She made me and everyone else that went through her line feel special and appreciated. Grocery shopping is always a blah experience and some of today's checkers wherever you go are robotic, quiet and have a emotionless look about them.....NOT Nicole P. Please tell her how much she is appreciated!! The world needs more people like her!! I work at a major Fast Food restaurant and I really wish she worked for us!!

Winco is my go to local grocer. Prices are great, and the produce selection plentiful.
