Verdi Tavern - Poco Verde

Pool table- check. Jukebox- check. Gaming at the bar- check. I had a couple of specialized drinks made with Verdi Distillery spirits... AMAZING! Kristen has done a spectacular job with the establishment. Can't wait to visit again!

We had been to Sasquatch a few years ago and thought it was good, but this time it was awesome. My wife recently saw several positive posts on Yelp about this place, so we thought we would check it out again. We arrived about 3:30pm on a Saturday. We checked online earlier in the day and saw they have Happy Hour 7 days a week from 2pm to 6pm with $1 off all beer and well drinks and $2 off all appetizers so we headed their way! Upon walking in it was quite busy and they do have a sign asking that you wait to be seated. We were immediately acknowledged and stated we could take a small 2 person table but we would ultimately like to sit at the bar so we could try our luck. The young lady said that was not a problem and she took our drink order and provided us menus. We started to look at the menu and the server stopped by and told us that two spots at the bar had opened up which worked out well. We grabbed our menus and drinks and headed to the bar where we were greeted by another server who took our food orders. My wife chose the Cobb Salad with Blue Cheese Dressing and I chose the Prime Cheesesteak Sandwich with Swiss Cheese and Fries. We began trying our luck and our food arrived very quickly! Both looked fabulous and tasted yummy too. My sandwich was very moist and tender and I really enjoyed it. My wife really liked her salad as well. We struck up a conversation with another couple at the bar who were clearly regulars and had an enjoyable time. My wife also decided to order a dessert and asked the server for his suggestion and he said Oh, definitely the bread pudding , so we took his recommendation and my oh my it arrived and was not only huge but looked incredible needless to say she enjoyed it! Overall this was a fun afternoon out and we will definitely be back. Sasquatch is a hidden gem and we will not wait long to return!

Have been here multiple times and always order the calamari with the mushroom sauce usually outstanding but this time only got 3 good pieces of the calamari and the rest of the plate just covered in deep fried crumbs... also, beware! if you like your hamburger cooked medium, order it medium well or you will get medium rare to rare has happened 3 times now! i pointed it out to the server this last time and she suggested ordering it medium well next time, though she did subtly say he (the cook) should know how to cook a hamburger medium! food aside, the service is always outstanding! our server she's always waited on us is friendly, attentive, and effortlessly handles the full room of customers and patient when we're asking multiple questions about the menu! we will undoubtably be back, but hopefully next time there will be more attention paid to the food.

Fantastic food and excellent service! The portions are generous and incredibly flavorful. I appreciate that the menu offers some unique options. Today’s special featured a half elk salami sandwich paired with clam chowder. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, complete with a fireplace and a fully stocked bar. And be sure to snap a photo with the big, fuzzy mascot!

The atmosphere was great, and the owner was extremely friendly and welcoming.
