Catalino's Cafe and Restaurant - Poctol

We should have enjoyed our lunch more if the waiter got our order right. We ordered for their house specialty and rellenong pusit. To our dismay the waiter only gave us the rellenong pusit because he forgot to write down the other order. We ordered for turon, but did not bother to give us extra fork and plate to eat. We're the only customer at that time.

If you are fond of Kuya J's Halo halo... you should try Catalinos Halo Halo paired with their special toron to complete your dessert or pm snacks... Simply delicious and tasty. For viand try Quezon's crispy pata, binagoongang baboy and ensaladang ampalaya... promise no bitter taste!

The direction/location in Waze is already updated, we did not have any problem finding the place. I love the interior of the restaurant which includes antique furnitures which are all for sale. I love eating infront of the river.

The locations in Waze and Google Maps are incorrect. The search should be done on"Catalino's Villa Javier". When we got in the gate, nobody was there. We didn't know if we were in the right place.If you're planning to eat here, make a reservation. Why?1. We were placed in the second floor of a hut. There wasn't really any nice view.2. We waited for more than an hour for the food.3. We transferred to another table when other guests left, the view isn't really good.There's a smell from a piggery nearby and there are flies and I hate flies!The food's good though.

My family and I came to visit here last April 1,2016 when I celebrated my High School Graduation. In fact, it was our 2nd time to eat here. We enjoy the ambiance so much especially the dining area beside the cliff. I also love their Binagoongan and Special Halo-halo. There were several antiques and memorabilia's that you can appreciate as an art and antique lover. Kudos to all the staff because they provide such exquisite and homey feeling to the customers!
