My toast actually had butter and was still warm. 2. The French toast recipe is delicious. Thin white bread, perfectly soaked and grilled, wonderful balance of butter, cinnamon, vanilla and powdered sugar on top. 3. Eggs over easy were completely cooked on the outside, unbroken, and the yolk was still liquid and warm. That is a skill lost on most diner grill cooks. Bravo! 4. my bacon was cooked soft as I requested it. MMM 5. Saff is attentive without being obtrusive and everyone had a smile for me. Thank you!
I absolutely adore small family-owned restaurants. They serve our community one customer at a time. I have to commend the owners for their hard work. The restaurant is excellent in every way. I came across this gem on Google while I was in the area after a bizarre incident at home involving my dog setting my house on fire, but that's a story for another time. While in Point Pleasant, I stumbled upon this restaurant a couple of miles up the road. The atmosphere and food remind me of a cozy home-cooked meal. The food is fantastic, and the people are even better. Highly recommend it.
I took my two children, ages 5 and 1, to this restaurant and found the staff to be friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The food was excellent, with my 5-year-old loving the grilled cheese and my 1-year-old enjoying the fries. I highly recommend the pastrami Reuben sandwich. Just a heads up, they only accept cash payments.
The best food in the area can be found at John and Elaine's, a hidden gem. The service is friendly and efficient, the atmosphere is cozy, and the restaurant is family-owned. The food and service are always excellent. I highly recommend it, 10/10.
Their blueberry pancakes are to die for. I love their hot pastrami. The meat is tender and juicy just like my mother taught me to make. Portions are generous. I look forward to joining my friends there every week.
