Having taken the night bus from Lumbini, we arrived at 5 AM and were quite hungry by 7. We were glad to find a place which offers plant-based options and they were happy to substitute a cold salad for grilled mushrooms. I was so grateful to have tofu after living off oats 2-3xs a day for almost 2 weeks during my Vipasana retreat where they serve only spicy vegetarian food, most of which consisted of ghee, paneer, and milk. Thank you for the well needed nourishment. The grilled mushrooms were
Cheap prices but the food isn't great. Got the falafel wrap and the vegan pasta. There are much better places in Pokhara than here
Cute place with plenty vegan option and a nice view on the lake. The food we ordered was very tasty (vegan Buddha bowl and hummus plate). The juices are fresh but blended so a lot of pieces of veggies were still in there. The Momo were ok but not extraordinary. Very kind staff. Updated from previous review on 2023-05-08
Everything I had here was amazing and the staff are so friendly. Beautiful views over the lake and my partner enjoyed non vegan options here. Good prices. I had the vegan pasta, the vegan burger, and vegan breakfast (only place I've found scrambled tofu and it was way better than I've ever made it and I think I do an alright job!! . All meals full of flavour.
The rest point became a regular hangout spot during my 2 weeks in Pokhara. For the vegan options I tried the Mediterranean board , and it was okay, loved the vegan pasta! Also loved the veg. vegan burger, it was delicious and tasty. I tried the hummus as well and it was okay. But the best thing by far, is the falafel wrap. They make truly a great falafel and it's only 280 rps for the wrap with fries and a small salad.
