As there wasn’t enough staff, tables did not get cleaned up quickly enough. The only other place nearby we could find to eat, only served pizza’s. This was our lunchtime stop on an excursion, so we didn’t have any other choice but to eat here, they know this, so this is probably the reason they feel they can rip customers off and offer poor quality food. Other people on our excursion felt the same. My advice is, to bring your own lunch or have lunch before you arrive here.
Went here from the beach, we only wanted a coffee and pastry. Got there and asked when they opened and was told 10 am. I came back at 10 and some miserably man was waving his hand to say we are not open yet, when i asked when it will open he mumbled 15mins and carried on counting the money. I went back to him in 15 mins and he was still off and then said his part was not open and go into the main restaurant. (Some customer service that was). In the main part they were more helpful and the coffee and pastry were quite nice(Maybe the beach helped there as thats where we had them). I didn't go back to Mr Happy so can't say if he cheered up any
The only spot on the beach to eat. Captive audience hence prices. Only place to get out of the sun. Floor slippery
We walked into this place for lunch after realising the lack of viable alternatives on the Formentor beach (there is another restaurant nearby with 2 stars rating, ugh... . We walked through the self service area, left it without food and returned since there are really no other options here. Even on the second time we could not convince ourselves that there 's anything worth the money (let alone sending down our throats maybe the overpriced salad . We ended up with nothing due to the poor value for money and poor overall value. We bought an overpriced croissant later in the bar. The hot food was put into the self service area long ago based on its looks. Most options there were also unoriginal and quite unhealthy. For instance you could get a dull fish and chips for 16 17 euros (11 for the fish, then you pay extra for the chips part . It is clear that this place intends to serve poor people with little culture for food for crazy prices. A few more examples of their pricing are the 0.33L Amstel beer for 3.5 euros, the disgusting looking hamburger (meat only, no cheese or salad or ketchup or mayo or anything for like 10 euros, or the EMPTY croissant we ended up having for 2.5 euros. The place is just ripping off people who have no real alternative here. The beach is nice, but make sure you bring our own food and beverages if you come here. Thanks for reading.
