Mario was very, very welcoming. A good person with a big heart. We did not sleep here but we were riding a scooter and got caught by rain, we found chelter and a heartwarming hospitality here He also gave us these nice 'raincoats ' made from plastic bags : . Be sure to check it out if you are around, from the terrace, there is a wonderful view over Polina.

I’m so glad we went here on our last day instead of at the beginning of our stay in Cefalu, otherwise every meal afterwards would have seemed disappointing in comparison. As it was, we thought we ate pretty well in Cefalu but dining here was a whole new level of deliciousness. It was also less pricy, the service was even friendlier and the setting was beautiful. One warning arrive hungry! There are a lot of courses and you won’t want to decline any. Enjoy.
