J J's Bbq Fish - Pomona

I had an excellent experience at this restaurant! The food was amazing and the prices were very reasonable. It definitely stands out compared to the big chains. The staff was friendly, and my order was prepared quickly. The place was clean, giving it a cozy, mom-and-pop vibe. I enjoyed half a plate of pork ribs that were tender and juicy, and there was plenty of delicious Southern soul food on the menu as well. Highly recommend!

I had the fried tilapia, collard greens, and black-eyed peas, and it was delicious! My sister ordered the pork ribs, which came with black-eyed peas and green Kool-Aid, and she absolutely loved it. The portions are quite generous. We've eaten at J's many times, and we have consistently been satisfied with our meals. If you’re looking for authentic soul food, definitely give this place a try!

A truly cozy spot! I had lunch there and was in the mood for some soul food. I enjoyed the mac and cheese, collard greens, red snapper, and yams. Everything was just right. I will definitely be going back!

First and only time in this place. I would not recommend this place. On the other day, 2 BRISKET ordered sandwiches and I was pulled pig. I knew the difference when I came home. I ordered the meal and got Mac n cheese with Coleslaw and Pommes. the Mac had WAY too much chili powder and the Coleslaw side was child size. The best thing about the plate was the Fritten

Excellent!!! Was looking at a house in Pomona stopped here to eat the food is top notch! Everything was perfect the chicken, the catfish, the greens, the peach cobbler, I can go on and on. My new favorite spot. It?s so hard to get good food these days, I?m a customer for life.
