La Veranda Italian - Pompano Beach

I went with my hubby for the first time to celebrate our 1st anniversary, this restaurant is 100 out of 10. I recommend, loved everything! Definitely we will come back! First time diners: Where do we start? Everything was amazing. Ambiance? Killer! Reminiscent of an older movie. Service? Celso and Joey made us feel like family from the moment we walked in. Food? Shut the front door! The pear fontina purses with marscapone were insane. On Sunday, they have a veal osobuco that is tasty enough to keep me coming back on Sundays alone! BTW: the house Caesar might be one of the best I’ve had in a long time, thin, light dressing done fresh in the bowl. Italian done right!!!

Perfect Saturday night fun with live music. We had very delicious brushetta starter. The olive salad was incredible. And for dinner lasagne and wild mushroom risotto; all unabashedly excellent.
