Steers - Pongola

This is undoubtedly the best burger I've ever had from Steers. After taking a long break from ordering there (I had actually given up on them), I decided to give the Prince burger another chance. I was pleasantly surprised by how fresh and juicy it was, with just the right amount of sauce. The Steers in Pongola is by far the best one I've experienced. If you're in the area, be sure to stop by this location—you won't be disappointed!

I wouldn’t rate the service as good at all. The staff wasn't very friendly, and it felt like we were bothering them when we placed our order. Also, if you want to use the restroom after finishing your meal and drinks, be sure to have R2 ready; otherwise, you won’t be able to access it. We noticed a dessert advertised in the window, but when we tried to order it, the server apologized and said it wasn’t available—it turned out to be an outdated advertisement.

I ordered a café latte, but it came cold and was undrinkable. Meal type: Breakfast. Price per person: R 50–100.

I rate this restaurant five stars for their ribs— the portions are impressively large and very satisfying. The flavor is truly exceptional. When I first visited Steers in Pongola, I was delighted by the size and taste of their ribs. This location has made me fall in love with all their dishes. However, whenever I order the same meals from other Steers branches, I often feel disappointed. Steers Pongola is definitely the place to go, and you absolutely must try the ribs!
