The spice rack restaurant in gonikopalu is located on the main road to medikeri over napoklu n virajpet ca. 60 kms short medikeri. it offers a wide range of menus, including north indian tandoori options besides local directed with decent vegetarian options. preparation is decent and the help are good. prices are competitive and the service is good. it is spacious and the ambiente is good. it is even very popular among the locals. the restaurant is located in the first floor, but there is a lift. the parking spaces are available throughout the building. an ideal location after approx. 5 hours drive bangaluru to have a break to lunch.
Best restaurant in this area, good food and service we have enjoyed our special cocos pudding and custard apfeleis ingenious
Despite offering traditional Coorgi dishes on the menu with somewhat authentic flavors, the quality of the food was disappointing. The pandi curry was too oily with too much fat on the pork pieces, and the akki rotis were just okay. The huh curry was better than the pandi curry. The service was okay, but it took some time to place our order. Ultimately, the reason we rate this establishment as average is primarily due to finding a staple pin in our chicken farming.
Located in the heart of the city, this restaurant offers a variety of Coorgi specialties along with a diverse Pan-Indian menu. We tried the traditional mutton curry, chicken curry, and "kaad maanga" curry, which had a unique sweet and sour flavor. The dal tadka was delicious, and the rasam was impressively spicy - we loved it! The Indian breads were satisfying, and we also enjoyed the refreshing buttermilk and mango juice on a hot summer day. The Jaljeera had a sweet twist to its typically tangy flavor. The ambiance was relaxed and inviting.
