La Pomme D'or - Pont-l'Évêque

New owner, new formula. Very good crunch or dish of the day. I recommend.

We were greeted by a gentleman who put us well on the terrace, although it was not erected. We ordered a bottle of cider and two full cakes that were on the map of the day. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed to see an Intermarché cider bottle that we find in any region, while we were making a joy to taste a local cider. The full cakes were served with fries and salad, which is very pleasant for 10€. We were a little disappointed because the cake was imbibed by the little salad sauce. It is also a pity to serve the cake with a cooked egg on the left, in egg on the dish, then added to the cake. The staff was not unpleasant throughout the meal but at the time of payment, a little more cheerful would have been welcome! This comment has a purely constructive purpose because we are simple people, but we considered that there were still great improvements, not to mention the toilets that were not very clean during our passage.

A random stop and a happy chance. We wanted homemade dishes and we were well served and without chichi whether it was a simple full cake or a homemade mayonnaise egg or a black place with its fresh cream sauce that we enjoyed. It's all home and it's cheap! The price is more than honest! And in addition a warm welcome despite our arrival at a late hour. I highly recommend it.

Traditional Norman cuisine and tasted. Room in a pleasant atmosphere for good lunch away from the brouhaha of some breweries.

I can't put more stars a shame! In addition to the smiling and pleasant welcome, the menu (3 courses) is 18 €/person and is very well served: very nice presentation, well cooked and well garnished. the mayo is made home and you can ask for it without extra idem for the fries! Inputs: fish terrine with shrimp/mayo and hard eggs with terrine/mayo. dishes: caen/frites tripes and cobblestone/frites. desserts: mellow chocolate with English cream! We were set for the afternoon! . always without drink but with a coffee note c is raised to 41, 80 €. and, cherry on the clafoutis: the ancv cheques are accepted! Do not hesitate to stop or even make a detour, there will be no regret. I hope to stop there again!
