Casa Da Rosa - Ponta Delgada

I had come across this while researching this trip. Dinner here was part of a magical evening for my wife and I. Everything worked out perfectly for us. We arrived at the restaurant and were seated quickly. The owner was entertaining some ladies at another table, so we had the substitute waiter. The table he sat us in was well lit and allowed a good view of the whole restaurant. I was so in tune with the music they were playing it was as if I had picked the play list. My wife and I shared some pleasant conversation, the waiter was funny and attentive, and the food was delicious. It was truly a magically evening. The next evening our choice for dinner didn't work. I was apprehensive about returning to this restaurant lest anything spoil my memory of the prior night's dinner. Return we dinner and had another fantastic evening. The owner was back in charge. The food was excellent. We had a great time. Almost as magical as the first. Eating at this restaurant was part of the highlights of my vacation.

Very good restaurant very nice waiters and an amazing chef. The food was amazing very tasty. The owners were also very royal people.

Este céntrico restaurante es un lugar estupendo para comer o cenar. Su menú suele tener siempre una opción vegetariana y la comida es deliciosa. Tienen dos zonas, pero recomiendo la parte superior, un lugar acogedor y tranquilo. A parte de una comida realmente rica, el servicio es de los más amable y considerado. Siempre estuvieron atentos a que todo estuviese de nuestro gusto acompañado con una sonrisa. Desde luego que vale mucho la pena este lugar.

Best dinner we had during our stay at Ponta Delgada. Very good food and drinks, cool place with good atmosphere and background music AND young, very friendly and relaxed staff. Place to be at Ponta Delgada!

Absolutely amazing! Best place on the island, fondue to die for as are the burgers. Stopped here for drinks few time and atmosphere is always great. Staff so friendly. Highly recommend
