Solar Do Conde - Ponta Delgada

Location is the biggest let down as there is little else to do within walking distance and walking is quite dangerous due to broken or narrow or none existent.and the locals drive like idiots. The rooms we had were fine and the site was peaceful, though the botanical gardens need an upgrade.

We had the limpets and garlic bread. Fantastic. But then I ordered the tuna with vegetables and a soy honey sauce. Unfortunately the Tuna was overdone, and there wasn't enough sauce to redeem it (the server wasn't around to request more). The hotel looked beautiful--and we were certainly treated well. My husband enjoyed his steak with pineapple--not sure I'd return.
