Recanto Dos Sabores - Ponte Da Barca

I chose English for this review because, even though I am Portuguese, the world needs to know about this horrible trap in Ponte da barca. The ratings on this place are surely based on fake friends reviews. So here we go... Simply nothing worked. The waiter had no mask and no problem keeping his nose 20cm from my food. Yeah... And then, starting from the beginning, the sangria. Oh, the sangria... A child could have got a better result playing with his parents ' licors. It was literally undrinkable. And then, the food... Oh, wait, where 's the food? It took over 1 hour (the restaurant was empty, no joke! to get the food on the table. And guess what? It would have been better to just leave on one of the multiple occasions we considered doing that. The absolute worst, most disgusting squid of my life. It tasted like it was frozen food, and kept outside the fridge for waaay to long. The prawns were rubber... And then for the dish of grilled vegetables. Oh, boy... Grilled vegetables it was, carrots and zucchini cut in all shapes and sizes, taken to the oven (or did they? They weren 't cooked at all.. with no spices whatsoever and served in a huge bowl. Talk about finesse...You know what then best part of the dish was? The canned mushrooms. No joke! In the end, the waiter asked if the food was nice. I replied no, not at all. To his surprise, he then offered us a second round of sangria. Guess what? He might as well not have... It stayed right know the table, mostly alcohol with sirups. In case it 's not clear yet, this was the worst meal of my life. Not only that, you can break this dinner into little parts, and all of them, indepently, were the worst of my life! I 've never waited so long for something so bad. I may actually send some friends here, when I feel like pranking them really badly or on the april! 's fools.
