Service was above average. Food and drinks were outstanding. Noise level was very high. :
Our first experience and it was a good one. While we didn't really have any expectations going into our visit, South Kitchen Spirits managed to exceed them. In a post COVID era where good help can be even harder to find and keep, service was good. The food was excellent, and the entire process from reservation to payment was seamless. Will definitely plan to go back.
We weren't terribly impressed. The staff was accommodating and friendly, however, the food was just sort of meh. In general, the entrees were overpriced for content and quality. We likely won't go back.
I came across this place in hopes of finding a new spot for my go to spots. I can't say it will be. But I can't complain. We had a reservation for 6 people and when we arrived they sat us immediately. The night was filled with people. The bar was packed and the restaurant was loud. The vibe is pretty alive there especially for that conservative area. The food was not bad. 2 of my friends order a steak which had lots of fat. We love fat but not that much. My salmon was good but very small. We all laughed about it because it looked like a kids menu. Thank God it had good taste. A big plus for me was that they had sweet potato fries which I used to substitute all the other stuff they had for this dish. The biggest win of the night was their appetizer. It was chicken legs! It was big and juicy! The creme brûlée was cold- which was weird cuz it normally comes out hot. The service was regular and their clean up is on point. Give it a shot! I didn't fall in love with it but maybe you will.
