Del Lido Il Panfilo

We were staying at Hotel Olimpico across the road from the restaurant. We knew about the restaurant after a previous trip to Italy. The staff are very welcoming and their English is pretty good. We were there a few times over the course of 10 days. We are a family of 4 BUT we visit in a group of 10. It was never too much trouble to seat us for lunch or dinner. The pizzas are fantastic! As are the other pasta dishes that we tried. It has great views out over the beach, sea and Amalfi coast line. Some of our party were going to see a football match on Salerno and the waitress was kind enough to book a local taxi! In fact they were far more helpful than some reception staff at the hotel. Definitely worth a visit! Can't recommend this place highly enough.

Abbiamo mangiato molto bene , pesce , in una bellissima terrazza affacciata sul mare , prezzi corretti ,servizio cordiale , lo consiglio . unica pecca la scarsa illuminazione sui tavoli rende difficoltoso spianare il pesce , con una poldina sul tavolo si risolverebbe .

Have been to this restaurant in several occasions on different holidays and it has never disappointed. Excellent wood fired hand made pizza's! Delicious fresh seafood, all of which is eaten with a fantastic view of the surrounding bay. Friendly, helpful staff and always a warm welcome. Hopefully make it back soon.

We have been in this restaurant 5 days out of the 8 we have spent in Pontecagnano. the food was really tasty and one of the best quality-price around the area. we were served by Paula, an excelent waitress who could speak italian,english,french and spanish! She was great! That is impressive knowing they barely speak english in the restaurants around. going back to the food I recommend the Linguini with scampi which we repeated over and over again and the fried calamari!
