We've been here one time, and while the BBQ was good, and the staff was nice, it was a mixed experience. The sign on the door said masks required', and we were under a statewide mandate to wear masks. The place was packed with softball players, and nobody, including the staff, wore masks. Nobody. No social distancing going on. It has limited seating areas, and they were all packed. The BBQ pork was really good, and the sauce was also good. One drawback was the pulled pork plate was just a plate with a disassembled pork BBQ sandwich on it. The pork was on one side of the plate, and the bun was on the other side. Two small sides made it complete. That was kind of disappointing. But, the tea and the pork were really good.
Was told they have a good breakfast, haven't experienced that yet but trust they do. Very cold day, so was dinning area, have eating there twice
A few years ago, I visited this restaurant and had a terrible experience. I avoided it for a while, but recently my son and I decided to give it another chance. Sadly, the food was even worse than before. It lacked taste, was overcooked, and tasted like old meat. I cannot believe this place is still in business. I do not recommend eating here at all - you'd be better off getting a grocery store grill instead.
The atmosphere isn't the best, but I enjoy getting takeout from this place. I wish they were open for dinner. The char on the pulled pork is delicious. The sides are just average. I'm puzzled by the lack of mask-wearing.
