The Rising Sun Inn - Pontypool

The first time here today. beautiful traditional and cozy pub. the staff was very polite and welcoming. the food was excellent. very good portion sizes and quality were on place. so should be pubs if they were not taken over by the big pub chains.

My husband and I went to the rising sun in Abersychan today 39/01/22, we had sweet potato soup with toasted baquette then roast beef, both served piping hot and delicious, we didn't have desert as we was so full, wil definitely be returning

Lovely family run pub, good food, good drinks and friendly locals. When the weather is good the beer garden is fantastic for the family!

Beautiful charming drinkers pub with a good selection of real ale. The sort of bar your can sink into and feel at home.
