Feedback gevenWe really enjoyed our visit here because we like traditional restaurants where we see the cooks and the owners. Food was very good including Calamarata. The view outside is quite beautiful looking into lush gardens. At night however you may prefer the indoors (less buggy). If you call in the morning, they can good a fish soup for you all day, as someone in the restaurant had done this and the cook came out to talk and be praised. Ricciola was delicious. We also had fried calamari and little fishes. The gnocchi is the larger harder kind rather than fluffy (just fyi). Afterwards the owner makes over 25 digestives and some will be brought to your table (we like the fennel and the laurel the best). This was a special place to try--but its authenticity means your experience will be different. It's near Il Tramonto on the island.
This restaurant serves delicious local food. We had some primi and secondi with fresh fish. Everything was tasty, well served with a smile. Since the restaurant is not easy to access from the harbour, the owner came to pick us up at the hotel and drove us back. It was the best restaurant we taste on the island !

We loved Il Core so much that we went back twice in the 3 days we stayed there! The food was out of this world delicious and the seafood was so fresh. The service was spectacular as well owners are so lovely and accommodating. Highlights included their house made tuna the best tuna I've ever had, crab spaghetti and tuna pacheri, and their house made limoncello. Definitely visit this place! It was the best meal we had in Italy.
