El Mariachi Garibaldi - Poplarville

Reminds me of a generic, Mexican restaurant chain. For example, the El Paso chain that I grew up eating at. If you go in with this level of food as your expectation, you'll be pleased. Highly recommend the chicken dishes over the beef. We love the nachos with everything on it the chicken quesadillas. My one complaint that almost made me knock my rating down 1 star, is that some of the younger restaurant employees were hanging out at a nearby table loudly using nasty language in front of my toddler.

We stopped while passing through the area. Food was fresh and good. I had the poblanos with cheese. Chiles were roasted and not fried so had a good fresh flavor. Cheese was okay, not extraordinary. Corn tortillas had good flavor. Husband liked his dish of steak sautéed with onions and jalapeños. Guacamole salad was generous and fresh also. Overall would rate a 4 star. Good but not outstanding.

Just had burrito supreme for lupper (lunch/supper). Good food and service!

The customer service was bad and the food was ok. We tried getting their attention and they ignore us. We asked for fresh chips and they wouldn’t make any. We didn’t finish our food because it tasted bad.
