Parc - POPPI

The veg cheese pizza with vegetable toppings was a really starving burster. the traditional red wine has fantastic aroma

We have eaten this restaurant twice during our last stay in poppi. once for lunch and once for dinner. this was our second stay in the city poppi, and here on our previous stay, we knew that eating was good. as before, eating was still fantastic. the service is slow, and the restaurant opens at 16 o'clock. I understand that the culture in italy is different from elsewhere, but considering that this restaurant is connected to a hotel, they would think that they would try to accommodate people who stay in the hotel. an evening our group of adults and children sought a restaurant around 15 o'clock. the parc hotel was nice enough to call for us, and even asked the owner of this facility if he could open a little early. he said no. we went to a restaurant on the street, and during our meal other hotel guests noticed in the restaurant with us. I think the restaurant parc hotel should take this into account, also because you eat so delicious that the visitors have a chance to taste it!

Poppi is a quiet city in the hills of florenz, we came after a very hot day cycling, are greeted by the workers and a decent large swimming pool, the restaurant at the parc was more than sufficient and informative. ask them always for...wear shorts in restaurants. the castle forms a scenery and is worth a visit as it is popular with locals. taxis are limited so they have to go.

Everything was lovely, the liver paté was just amazing and the wine that the owner suggested more than perfect. The sweets were a lovely end to a lovely dinner on the terrace.

The Parc Hotel is just steps off the main street Via Romana but easy enough to miss. I wouldn't usually go to a hotel for a lunch or dinner meal but this venue is a delight. The restaurant is on the second floor so instead...of seeing the parking lot one looks out at the hills of casentino and the Castello Guidi! Reasonable, authentic, great food. Excellent service. Lots of locals from workmen, families to business people.Their pizzas are superb but just have the specials!
