Cafe Central - Porec-Parenzo

I went here because the reviews above said it was celiac safe, is was not. I told them I have Celiac and needed to eat gluten free. I ordered the gf pasta and the mussels appetizer. Halfway through the mussels I found a huge clump of breadcrumbs in the mussels. When I asked if they were gluten free, she said yes. Then I showed her the breadcrumbs and she said “oh of course there are breadcrumbs.” She did not feel badly for gluten contamination at all. I got very sick on my first night in Croatia. I do not recommend this place for Celiacs and I will not go back.

Great service, with a Big selection of GF food. My son had Pasta Cabonara.

We had dinner at this restaurant and talked to the daughter of the owner and she told us that she has the celiac disease. Our daughter has the celiac disease too, thats why we went there. They offer gluten-free Pizza and Pasta and the food is really delicious. Its a family business and everybody was very polite. Its also a pretty nice location. We will come again...
