Cash's Travel Plaza - Port Allen

I usually get breakfast here on occasion. Staff has been nothing but fun to deal with, good food!

I ordered liver and onions. It was OK. Let the picture speak for itself. I was hungry, it was late, and this was the only late night option besides Waffle House in the area.The server was tired, ready to go home, and more concerned with counting the drawer to get off shift. I had to ask the cook to bring me silverware and hot sauce after he brought me my plate of food. The appearance of everything in front of the counter was nice and clean. There was some clutter behind the counter and eye sorers.

Food diner restaurant thing inside gas station is delicious. Hidden gem bro frfr. Had the fried whiting fish, tater tots(shouldve got mashed), corn bread, green beans. Excellent price, portions, quality, taste, service, etc. Walked in and ordered takeout. Order was done quick. The waitress and cooks are great. They have options for the sides for days haha. Wish i couldve taken pictures, i wasnt thinking.

This was by far the best meal I've had in a long time. The diner also brought back memories of my younger days when traveling across the country felt like an adventure, complete with barstools, booths, and waitresses who sweetly call you "honey" while ensuring you have a wonderful dining experience.

The customer service was excellent! I absolutely loved the red beans and rice, as well as the pork chop!
