We went in with a party of 11, 6 adults and 5 children. When we came in and told the host how many we had, he said they only have 1 table to accommodate that many people and a party had just sat down but he could set us at separate tables. When I looked around the restaurant, I noticed they were not very busy and had other tables that could simply be put together and I mentioned we would wait for a couple of those. He then told me that they aren 't allowed to put tables together like that, I asked why and he said that is just the bosses rule, I asked if she was there, which he proceeded to say yes and offered to get her. I advised him we would just wait for the other tables to open and we could sit next to each other. They sat our party in 2 separate booths so we could not even talk with each other. Once our waitress came we advised we wanted our checks separate, she advised she could only separate twice, which was only 1 separation within our table. You chose to seat us separately, so we should be treated separately. She finally agreed. We ordered chips and queso, which I had to remind the waitress for twice.
Terrible experience and total waste of $80.00 for a family of 4. We had a fried seafood basket. Fish was mushy, shrimp was chewy, even the salad was not edible, spoiled/old iceberg lettuce. Fries are greasy and soggy. Not sure how you mess up fried seafood to the point that a 10 and 14 year old won't eat it. Grilled fishermans platter was much better. Brisket nachos were ok but they use canned cheese sauce as their queso. There are much better choices on the island.
Simply the best beef Tartar you will probably eat in your life.
