The King Crawfish Shack - Port Arthur

Picked up a sack of crawfish to boil from The King we are very satisfied! These are the most lively/healthy ones we’ve ever had.

Horrible experience on yesterday. I ordered the AYCE crawfish and 3lbs for each of my children. Crawfish were over cooked and extremely hard to get out of the shell. The waiter Julissa NEVER checked to see if we needed refills, if we were ok, nor did I need more crawfish being that mines was AYCE. I had to send my daughter up front for assistance not once but TWICE! Needless to say I never got more crawfish. I questioned where was the manager she stated that there was no manager nor boss on shift that the waiters were in charge? She also stated that the crawfish weren’t over cooked they were just big but I’ve had big crawfish from other places and none were too tough nor dry so that was a lie as well. The customer service was horrible!!! I spent $105 and it was crap I’ll never be back.

Hoped this would be good and it didn't disappoint. Nice server and good food. Grilled shrimp, diablo shrimp, and shrimp and octopus followed by churro and sopapillas. Would def go there again.

I don't recommend buying their live crawfish. Half of the bag were dead cut in half and very dirty, I have never purchased crawfish so dirty as the ones here I paid over $3 per pound. Definitely buy your live crawfish somewhere else. Will never be returning here.

Food came warm, portions small, got mild was super bland the small dipping sauce was barely half full, food overpriced, had to wave down service while they stood at bar and talked. Not very clean. Chips and salsa was good.
