Uncle Franks Hot Dogs - Port Charlotte

I’m new to Port Charlotte and kept seeing this hotdog food truck and finally had the chance to give them a try. I ordered a dog w/ mustard, dog w/ coleslaw, and an order of hand cut fries. The dogs were fresh with a nice snap and served on a fresh bun, and the fries were cooked to order, hot with salt. My first experience was awesome and I look forward to trying more of their menu.

Uncle Franks is well known around town and surrounds. My husband and I drove especially from Venice to Punta Gorda (45 min) on recommendation. We were not disappointed!I am quite discerning and picky about my fries. Boy did they deliver… crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Some fries had skin on which added to the flavor and texture. True Perfection.As for the hot dogs, both my husband and puppy dog think Uncle Franks is the hot dickety dog of hotdogs!!!!!!I spoke to Michelle (the owner) about their sausages and she kindly told me that their casings are natural, no nitrates and free from those other nasties I can’t even name lol. We will will be back for sure!!!

Awesome experience when ordering and the food was good. Ive had fried hotdogs before from ruts hut and mad dogs and i prefer theirs a little more, but this one wasnt terrible, but I had high expectations.Their loaded fries are amazing! Nothing to nitpick on that and I had them pick the toppings and they picked perfectly!
