The store Lay-out is great, and while I always wished they had more vegan options, this store has far more customer service and great products compared to any other Whole Foods in this area.
Delicious smoothies (we got the Drink Your Greens). The cold brew really hits the spot. And wonderful service! Definitely worth the trip for good coffee in Rye.
I had some canned items that I needed to exchange. I was met with a machine like response from the cold manager and a very rude (what seemed to be a) teenager by the name of Felipe. His facial expressions and sarcasm was unnecessary.Make sure you don 't have any expectations when it comes to loyal customers or even being treated with courtesy. I will definitely not be returning to the store.
My friend and I thought it would be nice to take a look at what was on sale yesterday at Whole Foods n Portchester and then sit for a cup of coffee and chat. I noticed a large sign on top of the counter by the pizza station stating Thursday whole cheese pizza $8 . Wow I thought this was great so I ordered one and the women said I have one that is ready so she put it in the box and stuck a price label with $16 on it. I asked her why $16 ? And she said no worries, they will adjust it when you check out. I picked up a few more items and proceeded to check out, but then only to find that the $8 cheese pizza price was for Prime members only. I didn 't even notice the symbol or the word prime that the cashier went to show me. I told Her my daughter has a prime account, but she didn 't care. My friend and I left the store with no pizza, no groceries or no coffee. I beginning to ban these stores that advertise specials ONLY to a select group of customers (ACME is the same way).
Whole Foods offers a lot more than what used to be available in the standard grocery store. All of the prepared food on sale makes eating a meal at Whole Foods a sensible plan.
