We bought food here to take away. You can get some ready made foods or there are groceries and drinks....There are not a lot of places to buy things in the Tlell area so this is a good place to keep in mind if you are staying in the area.
The Crow's Nest Cafe is quite interesting definitely a good pit stop for travelers passing through. They have some groceries, a quaint gift shop with local arts and goods, a small cafe, and public washrooms. By the entrance, there is wheelchair access as well....It sounded like the place was understaffed during our time of visit, so we can understand the limited table service and food items available. However, the place seems to be popular not only to the general travelers but some of the locals too. The owner was the only staff during that time, but she was very personable and efficient given the situation. She lent me some tarot cards and books as we enjoyed our light lunch. We ordered a slice of carrot cake, a latte, and a bacon jalapeno scone. All items were decent, although we readily admit there are better options on the island (say, Jags or Moon Over Naikoon). But for a quick bite in an area with extremely limited options, this place is fine. We would probably visit here again for coffee, trinkets, and some quick necessities from the general store.
I stopped in and got a London Fog tea to go. The tea blend was really nice. I also had a homemade Bounty Bar, which was amazing. I picked up some gifts to take home, including home made salal berry jam and some cards. It...was a pleasant place to stop and fuel up' before continuing the drive.
A great place to stop for lunch with fresh homemade food and drinks. The little shop has some nice things to take home too, like Salalberry jam.
Had weekend breakfast and very good coffee. Went twice for latte, very happy despite it being served a little too hot for me.
