Barry Bagels Catawba Island

I’ve been here over 8 times, bagels are yummy but the customer service is absolutely awful. Everybody acts like you just slapped their mother. Never welcomed, no smiles, it’s all attitude. Specially the young Caucasian man with a beard and glasses. He sighs and gives you a bad attitude. Everybody that works there should NOT be in customer service.

Good food and drink for breakfast but speed is not on their priority list. Three people had to walk out as they didn’t have time to wait, which makes sense in the morning.Customers need to get places and need a quick stop. Unfortunately this time they are not moving quickly.

Had an egg and cheese plain bagel as well as a ham, egg and cheese plain bagel. Both tasted fresh and smelled of toasted buttery goodness.Service wasn’t overly friendly but she wasn’t rude either. She just didn’t smile or say anything other than what’s your order. No other conversation but that’s okay because she was efficient and prompt. We ate inside. The restaurant was clean. We will come back. It was approx. $9.00 for the two bagels which were big and filling

Stood at the front for 5 minutes waiting for someone to take my order while there were 6 people behind the counter all doing the same job. Not well organized or managed, McDonald's has a line out to the street but could still probably get you food faster than going here.

I waited in line for 20 minutes, and the staff completely overlooked everyone waiting. There were about seven employees, some of whom were occasionally occupied, while others stood by watching someone cook eggs. It was almost laughably ridiculous. Barry, your in-person customers are just as important as your Door Dash ones.
