Bistro 163 - Port Clinton

I can confidently say that the eggs Benedict at Bistro 163 was the best I've ever had in my life, and I'm quite the enthusiast for this dish. I opted for the corn-rind version, which melted in my mouth beautifully. The poached egg was perfectly runny, and the English muffin was soft and gently sliced with a fork, unlike the tough muffins you sometimes encounter.

Bistro 163 is truly the most brilliant restaurant concept ever! It's a pay-it-forward establishment, meaning that if you can afford to pay, you absolutely should. All funds collected go towards covering the bills for those who can’t pay right now. Despite the staff being all volunteers, the quality of service and food is outstanding. The team is incredibly friendly and dedicated to helping others. I wish there were more restaurants like this in every community. Their soup and sandwich specialties at lunchtime are delicious and filling!

I can’t wait to return for another meal! I recommend this place to someone every day. It’s definitely a hidden gem. Everything we ordered was outstanding! Everyone would be pleased. The food is fantastic, especially considering it’s largely run by volunteers. Thank you for all that you do to help others; it was a joy to eat here and contribute to your cause.
