However, I was a bit disappointed that the dish advertised as spicy didn't have any kick to it. I could barely taste the pepper undertones, let alone any heat. The dish called Jalapeño-Kick should definitely have had more of a kick to it.
I visited the restaurant with my son and older niece. I provided my name and phone number for the reservation, then went shopping while we waited. Unfortunately, the restaurant did not call me back so we returned. They informed me that they had attempted to contact me but my number was not working. Despite this, they seated us immediately. As we perused the menu, they called to inform me that my table was ready. I explained that they had already seated us. The food was enjoyable.
The food is always amazing and delicious. The staff is nice, but I was not completely happy with the service. It may be because they are busy on weekends. It took about 15 minutes to be seated. The pancakes are a must-try, and the omelets are also delicious. The decor is a bit dated, but the location is comfortable.
Saturday, shortly before midday: 25 minutes for table for 2 and 25 minutes for eating according to our order. that is probably quite average waiting times for a busy restaurant for lunch. only 1 sirup? a little loud, but again, averaged in these days. the prices were reasonable. overall a good experience.
IHop breakfast is really good I love it. Yet I've given 3 star because of one thing this time they did that was completely, in my opinion, out of line.I'm big in charity I never say no to it. We 4 friends had a very good time together at IHop yesterday. Then in the end the server came to collect bills and asked if we would like to give charity. I'm always a yes to charity, and so without thinking I said yes then she asked how much and again without thinking I said $10. Only to realize later that even if I'm big in charity and I've a minimum $10 rule to give on charity, others may not. I don't know others situations. And she kept announcing who is giving how much charity. It created an unforgettable environment for not only us but I'm sure on other tables too. The management should not have involved in charity business this way. But if they do so, then they might as well announced how much tip is being given by each person. It's a personal matter and they have no right to bring anyone on the spot light where they feel uncomfortable.
