The pahat also not bad.. however, they select the sotong, fish and prawn for you.. so, it might be bigger and pricier because you don't choose yourself.. The restaurant spacious.. go early so that you don't have to wait.. Overall, not bad..
I like this place, because it reminds me of my hometown, my parents' house. Their service is really good. The staff is really polite and friendly. The food tasted nice too, but the omelette was too salty. Apart from that, my family and I liked everything we ordered. The only thing they need to improve is the fans. The need to add more stand fans around the restaurant cuz it can be reay humid and kinda hot when there are many people, and the ceiling fans didn't do much. As for the price, I think it was quite reasonable. We ordered a big Siakap 3 rasa, 3 big plates of Sotong Goreng Tepung, 3 big plates of Butter Prawn, 3 plates of Siput Pepahat (razor clam), 3 plates of omelette, 2 plates of kailan ikan masin, 2 plates of telur bistik, 3 big bowls of rice, 2 jugs of watermelon juice and some other drinks. Altogether for 12 people to eat. And it was all RM490. Quite OK for me, considering the portion were big, and it was all tasty too.
Over the weekend, I made a reservation and pre-ordered my food. When I arrived, the food was promptly served within a few minutes. The waiter was very courteous and accommodating. The tomyam and telur dadar combination was a hit. Overall, it was a decent dining experience.
The food at this restaurant is delicious, and the service is excellent with friendly staff. The Siakap dish was affordable at RM50 for about 500g, and the keropok lekor is absolutely mouthwatering.
I would recommend making a reservation or ordering your food before arriving at this restaurant. I was happy to find an empty table when I arrived, but many customers who came after me were unable to dine here due to a lack of available tables. The restaurant was busy, so I had to wait 40 minutes for my drink and 1 hour for my meal. However, the wait was worth it. The lime steamed sea bass (siakap dampflimau) that I ordered was well-seasoned and delicious. The deep-fried squid (sotong goreng tepung) was also exceptional and could be enjoyed on its own. The other dishes I tried, including ginger beef (daging masak halia), turmeric chicken (ayam masak kunyit), stomach salad (kerabu perut), omelette (telur dadar), and seafood tom yam, were all tasty and well-prepared. The tom yam soup was a bit on the sweeter side for my taste, possibly due to the seafood included. Other tables ordered chili crab and deep-fried prawns, which looked appetizing. Overall, I recommend dining at this restaurant when in Port Dickson.
