Il Pescatore - Port Douglas

We dined at this resteraunt the first night we arrived at the hotel, the dining space is large but felt empty and the menu was mainly meat based with a very limited seafood option. The food was lovely and the service good overall atmosphere left it lacking

I can't recommend this resturaunt. Menu is very limited and buffet is very expensive. Service was poor and the food was not very good. Such a shame because the Sheraton Mirage is a gorgeous hotel.

Part of Sheraton Mirage's Renovations. During our stay it was Closed for Renovations! No doubt once it's open it will be fantastic as its on the edge of the pool.

My wife and I stayed at the Sheraton Mirage for a week, last week, and dined here twice and thoroughly enjoyed it.Lovely food, very well presented, and nice wine list, with efficient friendly staff. The seafood bbq night on Friday night was a highlight and not to be missed. Recommended.

The breakfast buffet would have to be one of the worst you could ever have - still can't understand how bacon coming straight from the kitchen can be so cold and so bad.Expensive and not a huge lot of choices - best option is to have the omelette made fresh for you.Service is mediocre - no supervision, little details like some tables have salt and pepper, others don't and you have to go looking.This would be enough to avoid lunch or dinner but on one night, came straight from Cairns airport late and all local restaurants were closed - the all night menu is very basic and has no food suitable for anyone with allergies - did appreciate their efforts to be flexible and find something for my wife who had spent days in Cape York bird watching with little to eat.The food was just ok - it was more the effort by Eric and the others that was appreciated.
