On The Inlet - Port Douglas

Great place to dinen, service is impeccable and eat to die for especially the seafood boards for two, highly recommend this restaurant

Started with the carpaccio, melt in mouth then on recommendation the deep fried whole coral trout that was mouth water. my wife had the mud cancers, cooked to perfection and filling. refined with cocosnous panacotta and coffee, perfect. our waiting staff were very attentive and went away from the menu. recommend the lunch for the wonderful view.

Beautiful fresh seafood! we just walked a bit later and got a table and grateful we did. Started with garlic garnel that was fresh and tasty in a great garlic sauce that was just perfect. for the net was the crust barramundi nicely cooked and tasted amazing, and then the fish curry that was a rendang curry was also very tasty.

My family and I shared the haloumi entree, eimer von prawns and sashimi! we really enjoyed the sashimi (some of the best tuna I had in one) and the garnel were nice! Maybe a bit on the expensive side, but the service we had was fab!

The lunch was excellent. The steakburger was delicious and came in a generous portion size. The Black Bell salad was also very tasty. The staff were polite and friendly. It was a nice touch that they offered indoor seating with air conditioning.
