OTZ Food - Port Douglas

For nearly two decades, Port Douglas Otz continues to impress with its delectable cakes, delightful coffee, and superb ready-made meals. Nestled on the outskirts of town, Otz is the perfect spot to stop for a relaxing afternoon tea or a quick breakfast snack to start the day. The friendly atmosphere, cozy ambience, and delicious food keep us coming back time and time again. My personal favorite is the carrot cake, but the salted caramel cookies are a close second! A visit to Otz is a must when in town!

This café is a one minute walk from my house yet I would usually rather drive ten minutes to the next café just for a welcoming smile and a simple thank you after spending my hard earned cash. The coffee is good and gives you a huge energy boost but the owner here is rude, grumpy and ungrateful every single time. The Indian women working here are lovely and if it wasn't for them I would never enter the café.

We hadn't been here for a while and were invited to join friends for a birthday. Very happy to say that the food was definitely up to its usual excellent standard. Made sure we left a bit of space for dessert too this time.Superb!One thing that always annoys me is how difficult it can be getting a drink in so many restaurants. Our waitress on this night was amazing. I was the only one drinking beer (which Otz is now licensed for ) and she made sure my glass never ran dry. Every time she came past and I was running out she checked if I wanted another. Sounds simple enough but so often overlooked and to cap it off this was busy night. Thanks Otz Girls and staff and we wil see you again soon.

We had brunch here as it was 11.00 we had egg bacon tomatoes avocado on a Turkish roll with homemade relish it was beautiful and we had a capo and a ice coffee they both were delicious the staff were so friendly and helpful we definitely try again highly recommended
